Prompt: Practice your dialogue. Write a short story between two characters entirely in dialogue. Make it a bit unusual.

“Woah, that was loud.”

“I had a boyfriend who was really good at that – he could make the best sounds.”

“Your fourth grade boyfriend?”

“Ha. Ha. No.”

“Well, he was Mexican, wasn’t he?”

“Yeah, I guess. Oh, that was a good one.”

*laughter*

“If you press it harder, it will make a better sound.”

*giggles*

“Like this?”

*hysterical laughter*

“No, harder!”

*hysterical laughter*

*gasping for air*

“I can’t believe” -*laughter* - “it can make that noise!”

*gasping*

“Oh, that’s just gross.”

*giggles* “It’s so disgusting.”

“You can blame Sarah, she gave it to me.”

“That girl” - *laughter*

“She’s a genius.”

Notes: This is a sensationalized version of a real-life conversation between two of my roommates about Flarp putty techniques.
